Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an organic EL device having high light emitting quality, luminous efficiency, and emission lifetime; a method for manufacturing an organic EL device; and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An organic EL device 11 includes: a pixel 38 having sub-pixels 34R, 34G, 34B; anodes 24R, 24G, 24B provided at the sub-pixels 34R, 34G, 34B; a cathode 25; luminous layers 63R, 63G formed between the cathode 25 and the anodes 24R, 24G of the sub-pixels 34R, 34G by a coating method and having a function of emitting red and green; a luminous layer 63B formed, over the sub-pixels 34R, 34G, 34B, between the cathode 25 and the luminous layers 63R, 63G and between the anode 24B and the cathode 25 by a vapor deposition method and having a function of emitting blue; and an infrared luminous layer 64 formed, over the sub-pixels 34R, 34G, 34B, between the luminous layers 63R, 63G and the luminous layer 63B and between the anode 24B and the luminous layer 63B by a vapor deposition method and having a function of emitting infrared light.
