Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of emitting both of orthogonal components of incident light as emission light while changing them with respect to a direct advance direction.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1 includes: a light guide path 4 which guides light made incident to one edge side from an LED 13 to the other edge side; a P-deflector 7 which is arranged in the light guide path 4 and is switched between a direct advance light distribution state of subjecting incident light to direct advance in accordance with an applied voltage and a refracting orientation state of refracting a P-deflection component of the incident light and totally reflecting the refracted P-deflection component toward one side circumferential side surface part of the light guide path 4; an S-deflector 8 which is arranged on a position different from the P-deflector 7 in the light guide path 4 and is switched between a direct advance light distribution state of subjecting incident light to direct advance in accordance with an applied voltage and a refracting orientation state of refracting an S-deflection component of the incident light and totally reflecting the refracted S-deflection component toward one side circumferential side surface part of the light guide path 4; and a control part 15 which controls applied voltages of the P-deflector 7 and the S-deflector 8.
