Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric storage element in which leakage of electrolyte in a housing container from an inlet can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 includes a power generation element 11, a container body 10 and a lid 20 constituting a housing container for housing the power generation element 11 and an electrolyte and having an inlet 20c of electrolyte, and a sealing plug 40 having a flange 40a and a shaft 40b. The flange 40a of the sealing plug 40 located on the inside of the lid 20 has an external diameter larger than the external diameter of the shaft 40b, observed visually from the surface 20a of the lid 20, as the outside of the housing container.
