AUTHENTICATION INFORMATION SUCCESSION SYSTEM AND WEB SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique allowing safe succession of input authentication information between sessions.SOLUTION: An authentication succession system includes a portable terminal and a web server. The portable terminal includes: an input unit to which authentication information is inputted; a portable terminal-side transmission/reception unit which transmits a browser start request telegraph including a screen URL and search key information, to the web server in response to depression of a browser start button during using an application and receives screen information including the authentication information from the web server; and a display unit which displays the received screen information including the authentication information. The web server includes: a storage unit in which the search key information and the authentication information are stored in association with each other; an acquisition unit which acquires the authentication information associated with the search key information from the storage unit; and a web server-side transmission/reception unit which receives the browser start request telegraph including the screen URL and the search key information from the portable terminal and transmits screen information including authentication information associated with the received search key information, to the portable terminal.
