PIPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of improving a seal function of the pipe joint, and though a seam member is engaged with a seal member engagement groove, capable of preventing the seal member from being easily protruded when inserting a connection pipe.SOLUTION: A pipe joint includes: a joint body having an outer cylinder part and an inner cylinder part 14; a split ring to be engaged with the joint body in an externally engaged state with a resin pipe; and a fastening nut for reducing a diameter of the split ring while pressing the split ring into a joint depth side in cooperation with the joint body in a loosely fitted state with the resin pipe. Annular protrusion parts 15a, 15b are formed on the inner cylinder part 14, a seal member engagement groove with which a seal member 40 is to be engaged is formed on the joint body depth side of the annular protrusion part 15b, and when the seal member 40 is engaged with the seal member engagement groove, an outer diameter of the seal member 40 is smaller than an outer diameter of the annular protrusion part. A chamfer part 17 is formed on a portion where a wall surface 16b of the seal member engagement groove intersects with an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder part 14.
