Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous coating material for obtaining an antifogging film excellent in terms of scratch resistance and capable of preventing a fogging phenomenon which would otherwise arise on the surface of an object without requiring an external energy, water splashing, or periodic maintenance.SOLUTION: The aqueous antifogging coating material of the present invention includes a polyvinyl alcohol (A), a polyurethane (B), and a curative (C); the polyurethane (B) possesses at least one type of functional group selected from between a carboxyl group and a hydroxyl group; the curative (C) is a water-soluble or water-dispersible compound possessing at least two blocked isocyanate groups per molecule; the weight ratio B/A of the polyvinyl alcohol (A) and the polyurethane (B) satisfies the following: 0.75≤B/A≤1.5; the weight ratio C/A of the polyvinyl alcohol (A) and the curative (C) satisfies the following: 0.5≤C/A≤1.
