RESISTANCE WELDING CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance welding control method in which an optimal current rising waveform is output.SOLUTION: A resistance welding control method for performing projection welding of the present invention includes the steps of: providing a pre-cycle with a set current smaller than that of a first cycle before the first cycle of energization; and previously creating a characteristic table comprising the set current and a firing angle in an experiment at respective cycles from the pre-cycle to the N-th cycle corresponding to a workpiece of the projection welding. In the pre-cycle of the energization, the energization is made by ignition at the firing angle of the pre-cycle of the characteristic table. In the first cycle of the energization, the energization is made by correcting the firing angle of the first cycle of the characteristic table based on errors between the set current and the energization current in the pre-cycle. From the second cycle to the N-th cycle of the energization, the energization is made by correcting the firing angle of the N-th cycle of the characteristic table based on the errors between the set current of the previous energization cycle and the energization current. As a result, the projection welding is performed in a stable quality.
