WATER PURIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier the volume of which can be made smaller than that at the time when water is filtered in such a state that a raw water container is housed therein.SOLUTION: The water purifier 1, in which raw water is filtered by a filter 2 to prepare purified water, includes: a cylindrical raw water container 12 in which raw water can be stored and the filter 2 can be held; and a purified water container 11 in which at least a part 12f of the raw water container 12 can be held and purified water can be stored. The raw water container 12 includes: a first constituent member 12f to be housed in the purified water container 11 so that the filter 2 can be disposed at the bottom thereof; and a second constituent member 12r capable of being moved between the vertical two positions of the first constituent member 12f. The second constituent member 12r has an outer peripheral wall to be slid on the inner peripheral wall of the first constituent member 12f. When the second constituent member exists at the upper position of the first constituent member 12f, the second constituent member can be fixed liquid-tightly to the first constituent member 12f.
