DISTRIBUTION SERVER, SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM FOR DISTRIBUTING MULTICAST DATA SUITABLE FOR WIRELESS ENVIRONMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution server and the like capable of distributing stream data so as not to be affected by missing of a packet in passing through a wireless network as much as possible.SOLUTION: A distribution server distributes stream data to a wireless terminal by using a plurality of channels of a multicast method via a network. The distribution server comprises: source block division means for dividing the stream data into a plurality of source blocks; source symbol division means for dividing a source block into k(k>1) source symbols; error correction encoding means for creating k+p symbol data for each source block by performing error correction encoding on the k source symbols; and multicast transmission means which allocates the k+p symbol data to each multicast channel for each source block, sets predetermined delay time difference among the channels, and performs transmission.
