MULTILAYER CERAMIC CAPACITOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable high capacity multilayer ceramic capacitor and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a ceramic body having first and second side faces facing each other, and third and fourth end faces connecting the first and second side faces, first and second internal electrodes formed in the ceramic body and having one end exposed to the first, second and third end faces or the first, second and fourth end faces, first and second external electrodes formed on the outside of the ceramic body and connected electrically with the first and second internal electrodes, and a plating layer formed in a partial region of the first and second external electrodes. Furthermore, a polymer layer may be formed in the upper region of the ceramic body and the first and second external electrodes where the plating layer is not formed.
