Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate driver that is able to improve the output characteristics of stages and to provide a display device equipped with the same.SOLUTION: In a gate driver and a display device with the gate driver, a shift register comprises: a start stage that outputs a gate signal by responding to a start signal and starting an operation; and a plurality of stages that are connected to one another in succession, respond to signal output from the start stage, sequentially operate and sequentially output gate signals. Here, the start signal is supplied to the reset terminals of the stages remaining with excluding the stage immediately after the start stage among the plurality of stages. Accordingly, the output characteristics of the plurality of stages can be improved.
