Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active type muffler device that enables appropriate deadening of sound while reducing wasteful power consumption.SOLUTION: Reference signal detectors 31 and 32 are arranged inside and outside, respectively, a target area 10. Based on the signals r,rof these detectors 31 and 32, one of them is selected as a reference signal. Based on the selected reference signal and an error signal e, adaptive control is exerted so as to minimize the error signal e. Based on an output value for the adaptive control, speaker is driven.
