Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle/torque detector to be used for detecting a rotation angle or a rotation torque of a steering of a vehicle mainly, configured to enable highly accurate and reliable detection without error.SOLUTION: A substantially cylindrical covering body 24 is provided on an outer periphery of a second magnet 14 fixed to a first detection gear 22 and a second detection gear 23. The substantially cylindrical covering body 24 is provided circumferentially to surround the second magnet 14. Magnetism of the second magnet 14 is prevented from leaking outward to a first magnetic body 5 or a second magnetic body 6, thereby preventing fluctuation of magnetic fluxes thereof. A rotation angle/torque detector detects a rotation angle and a rotation torque reliably with high accuracy without error.
