Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for ink jet recording capable of preventing the ink from drying at a nozzle, enhancing dryability of a recorded image and obtaining the image having less blurring and high quality.SOLUTION: The ink for ink jet recording includes water, an organic solvent, a coloring agent and polymer particles. The polymer particle has a core shell structure consisting of a core and a shell covering the core surface. The core includes a cationic polymer, and the shell includes a polymer having a lower-limit critical melting temperature of 30°C-80°C.
