Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a vehicle which can lower the temperature in the cabin even if the temperature in the vehicle abnormally increases when an infant is on board.SOLUTION: This safety device for a vehicle comprises interior temperature measurement means 110 for measuring the temperature in a vehicle 10, infant detection means 120 for detecting whether an infant is present in the vehicle or not, infant condition measurement means 130 for measuring the condition of the infant, an air conditioner 102 having a cooling mode in which air in the vehicle is cooled, and control means. The control means activates the cooling mode of the air conditioner 102 when the infant detection means 120 determines that an infant is present in the vehicle, the temperature measured by the interior temperature measurement means 110 is a predetermined temperature or higher, and the condition of the infant measured by the infant condition measurement means 130 is determined to be abnormal.
