PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system capable of sharing information written by participants to each other during a meeting without being complex by connecting personal computers, tablet terminals, or the like.SOLUTION: A projection system 200 has first information providing means 31 for providing first information including image information, second information providing means 32 for providing second information including character information, output means 20 for generating information to be displayed including the first information and the second information and outputting the information to be displayed, display means 60 for displaying the information to be displayed on a display surface, light designation means 80 for designating an arrangement position of the second information in the information to be displayed that is displayed on the display surface, position detection means 70 for detecting the arrangement position, and arrangement position calculation means for calculating the arrangement position of the second information to the first information on the basis of the arrangement position detected by the position detection means 70. The output means 20 generates information to be displayed obtained by arranging the second information at the first information on the basis of a calculation result from the arrangement position calculation means.
