Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which current supplied from a drive circuit to a light-emitting element flows on a power line of the drive circuit to thereby cause variations in power source voltage and have uneven brightness of the light-emitting element.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device comprises: a light-emitting element (EL); a drive circuit (100) including a capacitor (C1) having one end connected to gates of a drive transistor (M1) and a drive transistor; a power line (60); and a first voltage line (61) and a second voltage line (62). The light-emitting device connects a source to the first voltage line and connects the other end of the capacitor to the second voltage line to hold a voltage in the capacitor in a period in which the gate and a drain of the drive transistor are short-circuited and the drain and the light-emitting element are cut out, and connects the source to the power line and connects the other end of the capacitor to the source to supply current to the light-emitting element in a period in which the short circuit between the gate and the drain of the drive transistor is cancelled and the drain and the light-emitting element are connected to each other.
