Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partially reduced iron manufacturing apparatus capable of manufacturing partially reduced iron without using a carbon material for combustion and of inhibiting a heat energy loss by effectively using tar within an exhaust gas.SOLUTION: The provided apparatus includes an exhaust gas circulation device 50 for feeding, into a raw ingredient pellet scheduled to be heated with the heat of an igniting raw ingredient pellet, an oxygen-containing gas obtained by mixing, with air, a portion of an exhaust gas emitted from the raw ingredient pellet in the presence of the heat of the igniting raw ingredient pellet heated within a heating furnace 20 and then circulated and a liquid tar separation device 105 configured within the exhaust gas circulation device for separating, as liquid tar, the tar content of the exhaust gas; partially reduced iron is manufactured by feeding a gas having a high oxygen concentration toward the upstream side of the mobilization direction of an endless grate so as to form a raw ingredient pellet combustion zone, by feeding a gas having a low oxygen concentration toward the downstream side of the mobilization direction thereof so as to form a raw ingredient pellet heating zone, and by heating and reducing the raw ingredient pellet over the entire layer direction thereof.
