Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input device which can obtain information required for appropriate color image generation even if a pixel is saturated.SOLUTION: Coordinates of a saturated pixel and a high luminance pixel are compared from an image Img2 (or image Img0) obtained by imaging at first shutter speed, and an image Img1 obtained by imaging at second shutter speed. When pixels having the same coordinate exist, they are estimated to be obtained by imaging the same subject. A saturated region color correction circuit 108 adjusts chromaticity included in a signal from the saturated pixel of the image Img2 (or image Img0) having the same coordinate so that it is adjusted to chromaticity included in a signal from the high luminance pixel in the image Img1.
