Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect wrong assembling of a link array without reference to shapes of links.SOLUTION: An inspection device 31 has an inspection tool 34 which rotates as a power transmission chain 1 rotates. The inspection tool 34 has a rotatable center member 35 and a plurality of teeth 36 provided on an outer peripheral surface of the center member 35. The plurality of teeth 36 are arranged at positions on the outer peripheral surface of the center member 35 corresponding to gaps between links 11, 21 arranged at regular positions. Respective dimensions of the plurality of teeth 36 in a chain width direction are set to regular dimensions of the gaps between the links 11, 21 in the chain width direction to which the plurality of teeth 36 correspond.
