CARRIER TRANSFER PROMOTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier transfer promotion device which does not require updating an existing load port.SOLUTION: Provided is a carrier transfer promotion device 1 installed for a load port 6 on which a hoop 8 is placed. The carrier transfer promotion device 1 comprises: a temporary stand 2 for temporarily placing the hoop 8 thereon; a carrier transfer bogie 3 travelling in the horizontal direction above a placement stand 61 of the load port 6 and the temporary stand 2 and used to lift the hoop 8 to transfer it between the placement stand 61 and the temporary stand 2; a support member 4 for supporting the temporary stand 2 and the carrier transfer bogie 3; and a controller 5 for controlling the movement of the carrier transfer bogie 3 in order to avoid contact between the carrier transfer bogie 3 and the hoop 8 during transfer of the hoop 8 between the placement stand 61 or the temporary stand 2 and an OHT 7.
