ROTATION OPERATION UNIT AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation operation unit and an electronic device having the same, in which operation sound is reduced without deteriorating operability and operational feeling.SOLUTION: A rotation operation unit includes: a dial base 305 in which an uneven part for generating click feeling is formed at a predetermined angle interval; a rotation operation member 301 in which a recess 301d is formed and which is supported in the dial base 305 in a manner such that rotation operation can be performed; a click ball 302 which is housed in the recess 301d in a such a manner as to come into contact with the uneven part; a click spring 303 which is housed in the recess 301d in such a manner as to energize the click ball to the uneven part 301d; and a dial cap 304 which is attached, after the click ball 302 and the click spring 303 are housed in the recess 301d, to the rotation operation member 301 so as to close an upper surface of the recess 301d. The recess 301d is sealed by the dial base 305 and the dial cap 304.
