Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved mask assembly which facilitates the handling and exchange of a mask used for manufacturing an OLED device, especially an optical device and a display.SOLUTION: A mask support 10 includes a frame element 20 and an elastic element 30. The elastic element 30 is fixed to the frame element 20. The elastic element 30 is a member being entirely formed of a flexible material. The elastic element 30 includes an arm part 37 or a lever having a first fastening projection 38 extending at 90° from the free end of the arm part 37. A mask assembly 40 includes a thin layer mask 41, a component made of, for example, a thin metal foil, and a connection element 42. The connection element 42 includes a fastening part 43 for fastening the fastening projection 38 of the elastic element 30. A mask 41 not only can be easily removed from the mask support 10, but also may be mounted to and extended from the mask support 10.
