Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transdermal therapeutic system (TTS), also called a transdermal patch, which is self-destroying after use.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a transdermal therapeutic system (TTS) which is a transdermal patch, preferably in the form of a transdermal plaster comprising: an active substance and an agent which can destroy the active substance; and means of bringing the active substance, e.g., buprenorphine, into contact with the agent, e.g., potassium permanganate, when the TTS is removed from skin of a patient, so that the contact causes the active substance to be destroyed.
