SURFACE MOUNT COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mount coil which is capable of reliably obtaining levelness to a substrate and a wide junction area, so as to be stably and firmly mounted, and can also be mounted automatically.SOLUTION: A surface mount coil comprises: a coil assembly 10; a top plate 13 disposed in an outer periphery of the coil assembly in an axial line direction; a first terminal block 14 which is fixed to one end portion of the top plate and to which one end portion 11a of the coil is connected; and a second terminal block 15 which is fixed to the other end portion of the top plate and to which the other end portion 11b of the coil is connected. The first terminal block 14 is disposed on one end face of the coil assembly from the top plate to the outer periphery at an opposite side in a radial direction, and a distal end portion is bent to form a first terminal connection part 14a parallel to the top plate. The second terminal block 15 is disposed on the other end face of the coil assembly from the top plate to the outer periphery at the opposite side in the radial direction, and a distal end portion is parted and bent by a notch 17 to form two second terminal connection parts 15a parallel to the top plate while holding the notch therebetween.
