SELECTIVE PRECLUSION OF BUS ACCESS REQUEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for selective preclusion of a bus access request.SOLUTION: A method includes determining a bus unit access setting at a logic circuit 108 of a processor 102. The method also includes selectively precluding a bus unit access request on the basis of the bus unit access setting. The selective preclusion is performed by the logic circuit intercepting the bus unit access request and selectively discarding the bus unit access request or sending the bus unit access request to a bus unit 110 of the processor, in response to the bus unit access setting.
