Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum fin material for a heat exchanger which has both lubricity and a hydrophilic property, and to provide the heat exchanger using the aluminum fin material.SOLUTION: An aluminum fin material 1 for a heat exchanger includes a base plate 2 composed of aluminum and a hydrophilic coating film 3 formed on a surface of the base plate 2. The hydrophilic coating film 3 is composed of hydrophilic resin 31 and granular wax 32. When a weight of the whole hydrophilic coating film is 100 pts.wt., a content of the granular wax 32 is 1 to 30 pts.wt. A film thickness t of the hydrophilic coating film 3 is 0.1 to 3.0 μm. When an average grain size of the granular wax 32 is denoted by D, D/t is 0.5 to 20.0. The granular wax 32 is composed of a flake-shaped tetrafluoroethylene resin. In the hydrophilic coating film 3, a part of the granular wax 32 is projected from the surface.
