Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a hydrodesulfurization catalyst in a fixed bed capable of regenerating a used hydrodesulfurization catalyst to an extent of catalytic activity compatible to that of an unused hydrodesulfurization catalyst.SOLUTION: A method for regenerating a hydrodesulfurization catalyst in a fixed bed comprises: calcining a used hydrodesulfurization catalyst, thereby removing a carbonaceous matter deposited on the hydrodesulfurization catalyst to obtain a calcination-treated catalyst in a first step; and loading an active metal component on the calcination-treated catalyst while adding a chelating agent in a second step (1). In the method for regenerating a hydrodesulfurization catalyst in a fixed bed (1), an amount of the chelating agent may be 0.1-10 mass% based on a mass of a catalyst obtained by essentially fully removing the carbonaceous matter on the calcination-treated catalyst (2). In the method for regenerating a hydrodesulfurization catalyst in a fixed bed (2), the hydrodesulfurization catalyst may be a hydrodesulfurization catalyst for heavy oil (3). |
