LIQUID SEPARATION APPARATUS AND HEAT STORAGE DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid separation apparatus having simple structure and high separative power, and to provide a heat storage device having the liquid separation apparatus.SOLUTION: The liquid separation apparatus has a separation tank 11 for receiving a first liquid L1 and a second liquid L2 having a specific density smaller than that of the first liquid L1 and contacted with the first liquid. In the separation tank, a liquid-receiving port 13 for receiving the first liquid and second liquid in contact with each other is provided at an upper part of the tank, a first liquid discharge port 14 for discharging the first liquid I is provided at a lower part of the tank, a second liquid discharge port 17 for discharging the second liquid is provided at a height-direction intermediate position between the liquid-receiving port 13 and the first liquid discharge port 14, and first liquid detection means 20 is provided at a height-direction predetermined position lower than the second liquid discharge port 17. Further, first liquid discharge means is connected to the first liquid discharge port 14, and second liquid discharge means is connected to the second liquid discharge port 17. The first liquid discharge means is set to discharge the first liquid from the first liquid discharge port and also the second liquid discharge means is set to stop the discharging of the second liquid when the first liquid detection means 20 detects the first liquid.
