Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material which has superior anticorrosive properties and is suitable as a constituent material of an electrode for an ignition plug, and to provide an electrode for the ignition plug, and the ignition plug.SOLUTION: There is provided the electrode material which includes a base material made of nickel alloy and an oxide film formed at least on a part of a surface of the base material, and is used as a material of an electrode of an ignition plug of an internal combustion engine of an automobile etc. The oxide film has a double-layer structure of an inner oxide layer and a surface oxide layer and satisfies one of conditions (a) to (d). (a) The ratio of the thickness of the surface oxide layer to the thickness of the inner oxide layer is 67% or more and less than 160%. (b) The thickness of the surface oxide layer is 4 μm or more and less than 56 μm. (c) The thickness of the inner oxide layer is 5 μm or more and less than 33 μm. (d) The total thickness of the surface oxide layer and inner oxide layer is 9 μm or more and less than 91 μm. The electrode material includes the specific oxide film and thereby hardly corrodes against a corrosive liquid to have superior anticorrosive properties.
