LENS BARREL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which allows holding frame cam followers attached on lens holding frames to be engaged in holding frame cam grooves with a simple configuration, can be manufactured at low cost, and allows for using most suitable holding frame cam followers depending on the weight and the like of the lens holding frames.SOLUTION: A lens barrel includes first and second holding frame cam followers 4 attached on first and second lens holding frames, respectively, a first holding frame cam groove 21 having a first cam groove introducing groove 21b formed on a cam barrel 2, and a second holding frame cam groove 22 having a second cam groove introducing groove 22b formed on the cam barrel 2. The first cam groove introducing groove 21b and the second cam groove introducing groove 22b are configured such that a pitch distance therebetween equals to a pitch distance between the first holding frame cam follower 4 and the second holding frame cam follower 4 when the first lens holding frame and the second lens holding frame are positioned to abut each other along an optical axis.
