COAL ASH SAMPLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EP ash sampling method with enhanced safety of sampling work by reducing the EP ash from flying in all directions in a blowing step.SOLUTION: In the EP ash sampling method, EP ash is taken as a sample from an EP hopper 20 storing EP ash collected by an electric dust collector via a sampling port 30c provided to the EP hopper 20. The EP ash sampling method includes the steps of: setting a cylindrical tube 52 in a cloth bag 50; attaching the cloth bag 50 to the sampling port 30c to cover the sampling port 30c; driving a diffuser 40 to supply air in the hopper unit 24; opening a ball valve 30b that opens and closes the sampling port 30c; and after blowing step in which the cylindrical tube 52 is inserted into the sampling port 30c to form a path communicating the hopper unit 24 and the sampling port 30c, removing the cloth bag 50 after closing the ball valve 30b; opening the ball valve 30b after attaching the sampling bag to the sampling port 30c; and collecting EP ash into a sampling plastic sack.
