ELASTIC BODY COMPONENT FOR SEALING AND HOUSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a bolt or an O-ring disclosed in Patent Document 1 requires a number of components or the like in order to ensure air tightness within a housing by fixing external components to the housing.SOLUTION: In an elastic body component 250 for sealing, a hole 200 is formed in such a size that a thread part of a predetermined bolt can be inserted therethrough. In the elastic body component 250 for sealing, a protrusion is formed which protrudes towards an inner circumferential side of the hole 200 so as to be press-fixed to a thread groove of the inserted thread part in the case where pressure is applied to the inner circumferential side. The elastic body component 250 for sealing is used while being accommodated within an annular groove 136 provided in a housing 1. The depth of the groove 136 is smaller than a width of the elastic body component 250 for sealing in an axial direction of the hole. When a standard bolt is threaded in, the elastic body component 250 for sealing is pushed into the groove of the housing, the protrusion is press-fixed to the thread groove and a bolt hole is sealed. Simultaneously, the elastic body component 250 for sealing is press-fixed to an external component and the housing and seals a gap therebetween.
