VARIABLE VALVE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable valve device capable of smoothly connecting rocker arms while preventing a connection pin from being flipped and generating a sound.SOLUTION: A variable valve device in which an adjacent first intake rocker arm 25 swung by an intake cam 22c disposed on a cam shaft 22 and opening and closing an intake valve, and a second intake rocker arm 27 connected to and disconnected from the first intake rocker arm 25 through a connection pin 54, are disposed on a cylinder head 10, and a solenoid actuator 21 for moving the connection pin 54 forward and backward between the first intake rocker arm 25 and the second intake rocker arm 27, is disposed on an outer wall of the cylinder head, further includes a crank angle sensor 65 detecting a rotating position of a crank shaft, and a control device 66 for controlling an operation of the solenoid actuator 21 on the basis of a crank angle detected by the crank angle sensor 65.
