Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inorganic particle aggregate capable of improving yield when added to paper as a filler.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an inorganic particle aggregate for pulp slurry addition includes a process of aggregating an inorganic particle by a cationic polymer containing 0.25 mass% or more of nitrogen. It is further preferable to have a process of mixing silica with the inorganic particle by alkali silicate and mineral acid before the process of aggregation. It is preferable that the inorganic particle has a papermaking sludge as a main raw material and is a recycled particle obtained through dehydration, heat treatment and pulverization process. A used amount of the cationic polymer is preferably 0.5 pts.mass to 5 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the inorganic particle. A volume average particle diameter of the inorganic particle aggregate, D50 is preferably 6 μm to 16 μm, and a ratio of volume 30% particle diameter D30 to volume 70% particle diameter D70, D30/D70 is preferably 0.4 or more.
