Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an O/W (oil-in-water) emulsion ink for ball point pen that has an excellent writing feeling and has no ink leak or no concentration change during long-term storage, while having a sufficient water-resistance.SOLUTION: An O/W emulsion ink composition for ball point pen at least comprises: an oil-based ink component at least comprising an oil soluble dye as coloring agent and an organic solvent that can dissolve the dye and has a solubility of 5 g or less into 100 g of water at 20°C; an emulsifier component; a cellulose as a thickener; and water. Here, the oil-based ink component is dispersed in water by emulsification.
