Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation electric wire which maintains characteristics such as fire retardancy, and furthermore the production cost of which can be reduced in an accelerated manner, and to provided a production method of the insulation electric wire, and silane crosslinkable resin composition that is used for the production method.SOLUTION: There is provided the silane crosslinkable resin composition that contains: a base resin containing polyethylene and/or an ethylene-polar monomer copolymer as main components; and a nonhalogen flame retardant, where the nonhalogen flame retardant includes an aluminum hydroxide particle. A ratio of the aluminum hydroxide particle in the nonhalogen flame retardant is 50 mass% or more, mass percentage reduction of the aluminum hydroxide particle when the temperature thereof is raised from 110°C to 210°C is 0.15% or less, a content of the aluminum hydroxide particle based on 100 pts.mass of the base resin is 110 pts.mass or more and 250 pts.mass or less. The polyethylene is preferably a super low density polyethylene. |
