Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tablet for UV laser printing in which excellently identifiable printing can be performed on the surface of the tablet in order to reduce the risk of malpractice in medical practice.SOLUTION: An uncoated tablet containing a medical drug is heated, the tablet is coated with a low melting point substance in a powder state and discoloration inducing oxide to manufacture a tablet for UV laser printing. One or more mixture selected from the group consisting of carnauba wax, Lubriwax, polyethylene glycol, sucrose fatty acid ester, and glycerol fatty acid ester is preferable as the low melting point substance, and titanium oxide, yellow iron sesquioxide or iron sesquioxide is preferable as the discoloration inducing oxide.
