LUMBAR SUPPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and light-weight lumbar support device giving secured, lumbar support feeling without stuffiness when being worn for a long period of time and being displaced easily.SOLUTION: A lumbar support device is constituted of a knitting fabric provided with stretching properties in a longitudinal direction, moisture-absorption properties, and frictional properties and includes: a belt-like body 20 having an engaging part for engaging end regions 20A and 20B mutually on an abdominal side; a pair of rod-like stays 50 disposed at a prescribed interval in a lower back part corresponding region 20C of the belt-like body in such a manner to follow a lumbar spine from both right and left sides of the lumbar spine; a non-stretchable fabric 30 which is disposed in a region sandwiched between the stays and restrains the belt-like body 20 from being stretched in the longitudinal direction; and a pair of right and left fastening belts 40 which are formed to have a width narrower than a vertical width of the belt-like body, have base end sides fixed in a central part in a vertical width direction of the respective stays, have tip end sides extending toward respective end parts of the belt-like body, and are provided with engaging parts engaging end regions of the belt-like body at the respective tip end sides.
