Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, capable of detecting defective units without directly measuring a value of resistance.SOLUTION: A manufacturing process S1 for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a second charging process S13 where constant-current/constant-voltage charging is performed at a current density of 1.4 mA/cmor more and 4.2 mA/cmor less. The quality of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is determined on the basis of a ratio between a charge capacity C1 of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in constant current charging and a charge capacity C2 of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in constant voltage charging, in the constant-current/constant-voltage charging during the second charging process S13.
