FERRULE AND OPTICAL CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule and an optical connector capable of preventing an apical surface of an optical fiber from being scratched.SOLUTION: The ferrule 19 has an open hole 41 in an axial direction which stores a tip of an optical fiber 17. On an opening end 49 of the open hole 41 at a tip 47 of the ferrule 19, a fiber stopper part 53 for regulating movement of the optical fiber 17 to the side of the tip of the ferrule is disposed so as to come into contact with a fiber end face 51 of the optical fiber 17 stored in the open hole 41.
