PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup-shaped packaging container whose trunk part is opened so as to be easily taken out in takeout of a stored object.SOLUTION: In a cup-shaped packaging container whose trunk part is composed of a material constituted by laminating a plurality of pieces of paper or synthetic resin, a tearing line for tearing the whole or principal parts of the trunk part is formed, the tearing line is composed of a pair of half-cuts formed at an interval so as to be torn to an outer surface side and an inner surface side of the trunk part, respectively, and is constituted by comprising: a pair of horizontal tearing lines formed at the whole circumference or a part except a bonded part of the trunk part from the whole circumference of a bottom rim part of the container bottom surface from the whole circumference of the bottom rim part along the bottom rim part at a lower part of the trunk part; and a pair of vertical tearing lines which are stretched between an upper end of the trunk part and the horizontal tearing lines and are connected to the horizontal tearing line on the same surface side at a lower end.
