HEARING AID AND MEDICINE TAKING REMINDER NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid and a medicine taking reminder notification system that prevent a person from forgetting to take a medicine.SOLUTION: A hearing aid includes: a microphone for collecting ambient sound; a hearing aid processing part for performing hearing aid processing for a sound signal input from the microphone; a receiver for outputting the sound signal subjected to the hearing aid processing at the hearing aid processing part; a timer for counting current time; a storage part for storing medicine taking instruction information; a meal start detection part for analyzing the sound input from the microphone and detecting that a meal has started; a meal end detection part for detecting that a meal has ended; a medicine taking message output determination part for determining whether or not a medicine taking message should be output from the detection result by the meal start detection part or the detection result by the meal end detection part, and the medicine taking instruction information; and a message output part for outputting the medicine taking message from the receiver when the medicine taking message output determination part has determined that the message should be output.
