Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lip seal in which a seal lip is provided on the outer periphery of an annular base part, in which the seal lip is hard to adhere to the annular base part, and which can suppress deterioration of sealability due to adhesion of the seal lip.SOLUTION: A lip seal performs seal between a housing and an insertion component inserted into a hole provided in the housing. In the lip seal having a seal lip closely contacting the inner surface of a hole part on the outer periphery side of an annular base part attached to the outer periphery of the insertion component, an adhesion prevention structure for preventing the seal lip from adhering to the annular base part is provided. The adhesion prevention structure includes irregularities provided on the outer peripheral surface of the annular base part. The irregularities include a plurality of ribs extending in an axial direction on a circumference.
