METHOD FOR PRODUCING PULP CHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a clog in front of a second cutter due to the retention of pulp strips of both ends in the width direction of a plurality of pulp strips from a first cutter.SOLUTION: A pressing member 60 having a length L shorter than the width W of a plurality of pulp strips p moving on a table 50 before being supplied to a second cutter 30 is used. The pulp strips pin an intermediate part in the width direction of the plurality of pulp strips p on the table 50 are pressed by the pressing member 60 toward the table 50 side. On the other hand, a pressing force by the pressing member 60 toward the table 50 side is not applied on the pulp strips pin both ends interposing pulp strips pin the intermediate part.
