Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating saw capable of preventing resonance of vibrations of a blade and vibrations of a reciprocating slider by a simple method.SOLUTION: In a reciprocating saw, a slider reciprocating by being driven by a motor is protruded from a housing in which the motor is housed; a blade 7 for cutting off a material to be cut off can be attached to a connection part 6 provided at the tip of the slider; and a protector 15 made of an elastic material is attached in a covering manner to the connection part. The protector is provided with abutting parts 16 and 17 capable of being abutted on the blade 7 attached to the connection part.
