PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable correct installation of an insert in the front-back direction.SOLUTION: A wearable absorbent article 10 includes an outer cover 20 and an absorbent insert. The outer cover 20 may be washable. The insert may be disposable. The insert may have an enclosing function and an absorbing function to prevent the outer cover 20 from becoming dirty due to excrement from a wearer, such that the outer cover 20 is reusable. The insert and/or the outer cover 20 may have a feature that the insert and/or the outer cover 20 are asymmetric to a horizontal axis thereof to improve properties such as enclosing, absorbing, material saving, and/or fitting to a body, and also may have a feature to guide a user who installs the insert and/or the outer cover 20 in a correct front-back direction relative to the wearer. Products including packages containing various combinations of numbers and features of the insert and/or the outer cover 20 are also described.
