FIRE-PROTECTION STRUCTURE FOR OUTLET BOX AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-protection structure for an outlet box that enables construction and inspection of fire-protection to be easily performed even after the outlet box is secured to a wall, and has excellent fire-resistant properties.SOLUTION: In a fire-protection structure for an outlet box which is installed on a wall having a through-hole so as to cover the through-hole, the outlet box has a space surrounded by a back plate and a side plate joined to the outer periphery of the back plate, the outlet box is installed on the wall so that the opening portion side thereof faces to the wall side and a gap is formed between the wall and the outlet box, an electric wire cable group is inserted through an insertion hole formed in at least one of the back plate and the side plate of the outlet box, a first thermal-expansion type fire-resisting seat is inserted into the back plate side in the outlet box, and a second thermal-expansion type fire-resisting seat is installed on the inner periphery of the through-hole of the wall.
