WORK VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle capable of improving control responsiveness of a hydraulic pump and suppressing shock when switching forward/backward movements.SOLUTION: A pump capacity control cylinder controls capacity of a hydraulic pump according to pressure of hydraulic fluid supplied to the pump capacity control cylinder. The pump capacity control cylinder switches a discharge direction of the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic pump according to a supply direction of the hydraulic fluid supplied to the pump capacity control cylinder. A forward/backward movement changeover valve switches the supply direction of the hydraulic fluid to the pump capacity control cylinder. A pressure control valve controls pressure of the hydraulic fluid supplied to the pump capacity control cylinder according to a command value input into the pressure control valve. A forward/backward movement operation member is operated to switch forward/backward movements of a vehicle. A control section executes pump shuttle control to reduce the command value to the pressure control valve when switching the forward/backward movements by the forward/backward movement operation member.
