BRUSHED DC MOTOR AND VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushed DC motor capable of reducing torque pulsation even when the number of brushes is four.SOLUTION: The brushed DC motor includes: a stator having 2×P magnetic poles (P is an odd number of 3 or more); an armature core having P×N±2 teeth (N is an even number of 4 or more) in a circumferential direction being held to be rotatable with respect to the stator; a commutator having commutator pieces of the same number as the teeth being held to rotate together with the armature core; a winding wound in double wave windings on the teeth; and anode brushes and cathode brushes 2 each are disposed to slide on the commutator. Width angle WB of each brush sliding on the commutator is set to satisfy WB>WP+WI (WP: width angle of commutator pitch, WI: width angle between the commutators).
